Kaler Kantho steps into sixth year

The sixth founding anniversary celebration of country’s one of the leading Bangla daily newspapers ‘Kaler Kantho’ has been started on Saturday with festivity.

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Managing Director of East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL) and Bashundhara Group inaugurated the sixth founding anniversary celebration by cutting a giant cake at the Conference Room of EWMGL at city’s Bashundhara Residential area on Saturday evening.

‘Kaler Kantho’ editor Imdadul Haq Milon, daily sun editor (acting) MD Jamilur Rahman, daily sun advisory editor Amir Hossain, Kaler Kantho advisory editor Amit Habib and  Kaler Kantho executive editor Mostofa Kamal, Bangladesh Pratidin editor Naem Nizam, publisher of Kaler kantho, Bangladesh Pratidin and daily sun Maynal Hossain, among others, were present in the ceremony.

‘Kaler Kantho’ started its journey on January 10, 2010 with a slogan of “Full truth, not partial” and eventually earned a huge popularity among the readers of home and abroad.
