Indo-Bangla trade to boost further: Shringla

Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has laid importance on boosting bilateral trade between India and Bangladesh.

He expressed the hope during a meeting with Bangladesh’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan in Dhaka on Wednesday.
India is the tested friend when it comes to the development of Bangladesh, said the Indian Foreign Secretary, hoping that the ties between the two countries will improve further in the future with expansion of trades.

Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairmen Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir, Safwan Sobhan Tasvir and Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam were also present at the meeting.

The Indian foreign secretary arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday morning on a two-day visit, aiming to boost ties between the two neighbouring countries.
