Bashundhara Group, the leading business conglomerate in the country, donated Tk 1,000,000 to construct a multi-storied diabetic hospital at Parshuram in Feni to serve humanity in distress.

On behalf of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan, Bashundhara Group Adviser (Treasurer) Moynal Hossain Chowdhury handed over a cheque to representative of Parshuram Diabetic Association Alauddin Chowdhury Nasim at a programme at the headquarters of Bashundhara Group at Baridhara in the city on Wednesday.

The construction work on the high-rise building has already started. The Upazila Parishad has allotted 12.5 ‘shataks’ of land to build the hospital in Parshuram Upazila Sadar.

Among others, Bashundhara Group Adviser (PR) Lt Col (retd) Khandaker Abdul Wahed and Head of Marketing Department MM Jasim Uddin were present on the occasion.
