Bashundhara To Build 5,000-Bed Hospital For Covid-19 Treatment

Bashundhara Group to donate Tk 10 crore to PM’s relief fund

In response to the global deadly coronavirus pandemic, Banshundhara Group, country’s leading business conglomerate, will build a 5,000-bed hospital.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir on Sunday proposed this to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after handing over a cheque for Taka 10 crore to the PM’s relief fund.

According to sources, in a written proposition, Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan said the hospital will be set up using four convention centres and one trade centre of Bashundhara Group.

Meanwhile, Bashundhara Group Chairman has taken measures to distribute food assistance to poor and destitute people of four wards of the Dhaka city corporation regularly through councillors. He is also planning for doing something bigger to face this pandemic.
